You'll need:
Place all the ingredients in a 3-quart slow cooker. Cover and do not lift the lid until ready to serve. Cook on high for six hours. Reduce to low for two hours. Serve over pasta. Pass the parmesan cheese. If you’ll be away from home all day and can’t reduce the heat from high after six hours, set your slow cooker on to low in the morning before you leave home, and dinner will be almost ready when you return in the evening. Remember, everything but the onion is cooked when you put it into the slow cooker, so all you’re doing is melding the flavors. |
