Salad Recipes Salad Cookbooks Recipes I’ve included this recipe in honor of our brother-in-law Dennis, who has the privilege to be married to the 3rd sister, Peggy. Dennis first served this salad to me, and I fell in love because as far as I’m concerned, you can’t have too much Parmesan cheese. Enjoy, |

Toss:
Combine for dressing:
Pour the dressing over the greens just before serving. Pass extra Parmesan, preferably of the moist, just grated variety as opposed to the dry stuff in the can. Note: This is an easy salad to take to a potluck or just to make the night before. Cut up the hearts of palm, the artichoke hearts and the onions. Put them in a sealed container. In a separate small container, mix the oil, vinegar and Parmesan cheese. If you use dry grated cheese, it will absorb the liquid and make a creamier dressing. Refrigerate. When ready to serve, dump in the chopped veggies on top of the lettuce and toss with the dressing.
