I had this Pumpkin Dip at a party. It's easy to make, and so seasonal. Serve it with apple slices or other fruit and it's healthy, too.

Pumpkin Dip

 

You'll need:

  • One 15 ounce can of pumpkin puree
  • Two 8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened (light cream cheese optional)
  • 2 cups powdered/confectioner's sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger or nutmeg or 1/2 teaspoon each
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Combine pumpkin and cream cheese.

Sprinkle powdered sugar, nutmeg and/or ginger, and cinnamon over mixture and stir well.

Serve at once or

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Cut up fruit slices/pieces or serve with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, biscotti, gingersnaps, lemon cookies, on bread with the crusts removed and cut into triangles or atop spice cake for the perfect autumn treat.

This recipe is easily cut in half. Sugar may be reduced if a less sweet dip is preferred.
