I asked our good friend and contributing editor Bonnie for a few suggestions on what to serve a large casual group. She wrote, "My kids grew up on Pizza Snacks. They love to build their own and watch the oven until they're done. It's kind of cute. They even find ways of personalizing their personal 'cups' so no one grabs theirs when it comes out of the oven." I tried Pizza Snacks. They're quick and easy and good. Thank you, Bonnie! Enjoy, |

You'll need:
Spray the muffin pan with non-stick spray. Mix the pizza or tomato sauce and the oregano into the browned meat. Simmer the mixture on low until the sauce is warm. Line one muffin cup with dough. Fill and top that cup, then move on to the other cups. This way the dough does not shrink while waiting to be filled. Bake according to the directions on the biscuit can. Remove your Pizza Snacks from the muffin pan while they are still very hot by running a knife around each one to loosen it. If you let them cool in the muffin pan, they are VERY hard to remove intact, even if you sprayed the pan with cooking spray. Lift Pizza Snacks carefully from the pan so you don't get burned. |
