our jewelry at VeryShinyObjects.com A fellow hand bell ringer, Al Constant, gave me a cross he’d crafted. Made from flat nails, it is a dramatic reminder of the meaning of Easter. Al shared the instructions with me for you. Thank you, Al.

You'll need:
Masonry nails are coated with oil to prevent rusting. Remove all excess oil by rubbing with a soft clean cloth. Lay the shorter nail horizontally across the longer nail, securing them with a hidden dab of hot glue where they meet, mid-point. Crisscross the wire over the middle, front and back to firmly fasten, making a loop on the back for hanging. Spray both sides of the cross with urethane to prevent rusting. Insert an 18” length of cord through the loop and tie the two ends of the cord in a knot.
