Main Dish Recipes This is an unusual twist on stuffed green peppers. I originally made them for a pre-wedding party in honor of sister Peggy, and then forgot all about the recipe. That was a few years ago. Fortunately, I recently rediscovered this easy main dish and have served it once a week for the last four weeks!

You'll need:
Pour the entire jar of spaghetti sauce into an electric frying pan or large skillet with a lid. Set the eight pepper halves on top of the sauce. Mix the rest of the ingredients and spoon the cheese mixture evenly into the pepper halves. Cover and simmer about 60 minutes until the peppers are tender and the cheese mixture has set. Spoon the very tasty sauce over the peppers to serve. Add some angel hair pasta on the side, topping it with sauce. If you do use pasta, you may have to microwave a second jar of sauce to go around.
